Week 8, Day 5

Happy Friday everyone and today is the finale of our Concussion Alliance Summer 2022 Internship Program! We all hope that your projects and showcase presentations are the best reflection of your experiences with Concussion Alliance! We’re all super proud of all of you and we’re excited to see all your hard work being presented!

This week we’ll be conducting some last final exit interviews that include a final internship exit survey. Appointment slot opening can be found in Slack under “General”. We will finalize the week with today’s showcase presentations and a final send off!

Your PM’s will also reach out with each partner project individually to set-up meetings times to check-in and review progress or if there’s any questions!

There are a couple tasks for today:

If you feel comfortable, please consider recording a 45-60 second selfie video about your experience with the internship! We use the videos on our internship page of the website, for fundraising so that we can continue to run this program, and for recruiting next year’s cohort of interns. We need your help!

We are also working on another video project with the working group we are part of that wants to record 15 second videos to circulate before the 6th Consensus In Sport Group meeting. The theme of the videos is “This is what we’d be telling you if you’d just listen” to remind the CISG about patient perspectives and research perspectives that may not be reflected in the CISG consensus statement process. Please consider recording a video if you’re comfortable.

Please complete this anonymous Internship Exit Survey before your exit interview. It’s fairly in-depth and comprehensive, so make sure to set aside some time for it.

Please also complete this Post-Knowledge Evaluation form in order for the CA staff to better demonstrate the impact of the internship to grant organizations, donors, sponsors, etc.! Here’s the google form link: S22 Concussion Alliance Post-Knowledge Evaluation

Here are some reminders for this week’s work:

Projects

  1. All of your work needs to be moved into the project folders (links, outlines, etc.)

  2. Update in the project channel when you have a section of your draft ready for feedback

  3. You should aim to be working on your Squarespace page today – it’s okay if you don’t have a complete draft when you’re moving to Squarespace, but you want to give yourself time to adjust to the website creation process.
