Week 6, Day 5

Happy Friday! Today, you’ll be having sub-cohort project check-ins, attending social hour, continue to work on your projects and go over some Concussion Curriculum on how to support friends, peers, and family dealing with a concussion. Make sure to reach out to PMs to schedule a check-in regarding the readability of your project drafts if you have not done so recently!

New Tasks/Notifications

Schedule & Curriculum Announcement

  • In response to your mid-internship feedback, we are releasing the schedule for next week on the Monday before and the curriculum on the Friday before so you have time to plan out your upcoming week. We will still be posting daily to-do pages with suggested tasks to get done on each day, but hopefully this new information distribution provides you with additional flexibility these next two weeks. Please continue to check the daily Educational Resources for any updates or changes to the tasks or curriculum that will not show up on the curriculum PDF attached.

  • We are also releasing times and zoom appointment information for the End of Internship Showcases during 8th week. These showcases will give each intern the opportunity to present what they’ve been working on for 15 minutes to the cohort and outside friends and family. Below are the links, times, and groups for each End of Internship Showcase. Please use this information to invite anyone you’d like to attend!

Projects

  • Continue working on your individual projects. Be conscious of your planned timeline and think about checking in with your PM about the readability and accessibility of your drafts. If you are almost entirely done with your drafts, please let your PMs know so that Conor and Malayka can give it a final review and approve it for publishing.
