Week 5, Day 2

Welcome to Week 5! This week you’ll be hearing from another field-leading researcher and presenting your work on your projects thus far!

There are three tasks to do today:

• If you haven’t yet, write a thank you to Dr. Nathan Zasler in this document. These have had an incredible reception so far, so here’s another chance to brighten the day of someone at the top of their field!

• Finish any preparation that you feel is necessary for Dr. Margaret Naeser’s Presentation today. Because there are so many materials, we’ve omitted them from this page - you can find them on yesterday’s page.

• Continue working on your project drafts for presentation on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. A reminder that your presentation day can be found on the Week 5 Schedule.

This week:

• Reminders for those working in Squarespace

  • Always make sure that you are not making changes to a live page. Work on a (disabled) duplicate or new page.

  • Squarespace unfortunately has no version control. If you make changes to a page and then save that change, you cannot get the original version back. This applies to editing from two computers as well; Squarespace also does not support two active editors, so make sure that only one person is editing a page at a time. Squarespace has even had trouble when someone else has the page selected but is not editing, it can be really finicky.
