Week 3, Day 4

Welcome to Week 3! This week will combine some continued learning, another stellar guest speaker, and working on your projects. There will also likely be some learning in terms of software/apps.

There are two tasks to do today:

• Please write Dr. Kapoor a thank you in this doc. Malayka will send Dr. Kapoor a pdf with the appreciation messages this coming weekend.

  • Dr. Kapoor requested that we give you her contact info: kapneer@usa.net

• Work on your project.

For this week:

• Start reading the materials for next week’s speaker, Dr. Nathan Zasler, Wednesday, July 8, at 12:00 pm. Next week is a newsletter week, so it’s a good idea to get a start on Zasler’s reading material ahead of time.

• Watch the 2015 film Concussion, with Will Smith, Alec Baldwin, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. We will have a discussion group about the film a week from Friday.

  • The film is on Amazon Prime, plus a few other places on the internet. We will reimburse you for the cost of watching the film if you don’t have an Amazon Prime subscription — just DM Malayka or Conor on Slack.
