Our second expert guest speaker is Dr. Elizabeth Sandel; Dr. Sandel was one of the first professionals to become sub-specialty certified in Brain Injury Medicine and is the author of our internship curriculum text Shaken Brain: The Science, Care, and Treatment of Concussion.

This curriculum wraps up our introduction to concussions and segues us into our next topic, where we will dive more deeply into sports related concussions.
