Week 3, Day 2
Welcome to the last week of the externship! We hope you have had a great last two weeks and are excited about everything you have accomplished. We have a pretty busy week so let’s try to finish strong!
Today and Wednesday we will have exit interviews: 15-minute time slots for each person. This is an opportunity to reflect on the program and give us feedback. Please remember to sign-up here.
We will have Expert Speakers Conor and Malayka Gormally today at 12:00 pm PT | 2:00 pm CT | 3:00 pm ET.
On Thursday we will have our Final Discussion on Shaken Brain at 10:00 am PT | 12:00 pm CT | 1:00 pm ET. We hope that you enjoyed reading the book and that we have a fun discussion. We will then begin wrapping up the externship with our Final Showcases starting at 12:30 pm PT | 2:30 pm CT | 3:30 pm ET. These will be 15 minute slots where each extern will present on their experiences. We recommend preparing a slides and talking about your newsletter synopsis and projects. You can also talk about curriculum or guest speakers you enjoyed.
On Friday we will have our Last Social Hour at 10:00 am PT | 12:00 pm CT | 1:00 pm ET! We will then conclude the externships with the Second Half of our Final Showcases and wrap-up meeting starting at 12:00 pm PT | 2:00 pm CT | 3:00 pm ET
