Week 1, Day 5
Today we will be having our Newsletter Workshop at 9:30 am PT | 11:30 am CT | 12:30 pm ET, run by two-time internship alum Kira Kunzman. Please have your practice synopsis ready.
After that we will be having our second expert guest speaker, Dan Fogarty at 12:00 pm PT | 2:00 pm CT | 3:00 pm ET; Dan is a concussion patient and advocate–and a CA community member. He’s also the author of Kill the Prince, a novel about an MMA fighter struggling with persistent symptoms from multiple concussions and hiding them from his coach and girlfriend.
We’ll finish the week with our Social Hour at 1:00 pm PT | 3:00 pm CT | 4:00 pm ET. The week 2 schedule is posted in the slack, so please take a look at that to plan your schedule for next week. Just a heads up, there is a movie to watch before our meeting on Tuesday, so if you want to, you can get started on that over the weekend.
Thank you guys so much for being so attentive and participating during all our discussions this week. We hope you have had fun getting started on your projects and with the guest speakers.
