We will have our weekly Social Hour today at 10 am PT | 12 pm CT | 1 pm ET.

For those of you that scheduled project meetings, we will continue to meet with you to discuss your first drafts.

Start-of-day Procedure

1. Check Slack for new messages

2. Check the schedule in #weekly-schedules on Slack, on the week page in this portal

3. Check the ‘day page’ (like this one) for tasks & content

4. Check your project resource Google doc in your project folder for new resources

5. Check in with your PM on Slack

6. Check in with your project partner(s) on Slack

• Check on Newsletter Synopsis revisions

• Please write a thank you note for Dr. Valera, Dr. Corwin, and Dr. Reed. You can find the thank you note by clicking on their names.

Curriculum for Today

We’ve provided a group of educational resources below. We’ve listed them in an order that we hope will build on your understanding of concussions as you go.

Unit 4: Parasports (Prep for Monday’s Speaker)

• Read the Concussion in Para Sport Group’s first position statement (~25 min)

• Read Concussion through my eyes: a qualitative study exploring concussion (~20 min) experiences and perceptions of male English blind footballers

  • You can also listen to the article as narrated by NBC sports soccer commentator Peter Drury(~42 min)

Stanford Writing Course

• Stanford Writing Course (~2 hrs)
