Welcome to the start of the third week with us! We hope you enjoyed your weekend after the holiday and are excited to have two guest speakers and our second discussion on Shaken Brain this week!
We will start our morning with a Monday Check-In meeting at 10:00 am PT | 12:00 pm CT | 1:00 pm ET.
Following this, we will have our expert guest speaker talk by Dr. Steven Broglio today at 11:15 am PT | 1:15 pm CT | 2:15 pm ET. Dr. Broglio is the director of U-M Concussion Center and NeuroTrauma Research Laboratory where he oversees clinical care, educational outreach, and multidisciplinary research on concussions. Our second expert guest speaker talk will be by Dr. Allyssa Memmini on Tuesday at 1:00 pm | 3:00 pm CT | 4:00 pm ET. Dr. Memmini is a CA community member and an Assistant Professor at University of New Mexico with a focus on influence of concussion in university setting. We also have our second discussion on Shaken Brain Chapters 5-7 on Friday at 10:00 am PT | 12:00 pm CT | 1:00 pm ET.

Dr. Allyssa Memmini is speaking on Tuesday, and one of her areas of research is Return-to-Learn plans for college students!
Read Achieving Consensus Through a Modified Delphi Technique to Create the Post-concussion Collegiate Return-to-Learn Protocol (~60 min), a review Dr. Memmini co-authored with several prominent concussion researchers. Dr. Memmini will b speaking a bit about this research in her talk on Tuesday
